Cherokee Valley Golf Course, previously named the Gauntlet At Laurel Valley is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Tigerville, South Carolina.
The Gaunlet golf course first opened for play in 1992. The course was designed by P.B. Dye.
This is a 18-hole, 6586 yard par 72, championship course.
Their signature 14th hole has magnificent Blue Ridge Mountain views providing a vivid backdrop. Dramatic elevation changes are a part of Cherokee Valley a must play destination.
Cherokee Valley is a spectacular Blue Ridge Mountain golf mecca that attracts players from all over the country. With a mild, four season climate, you can enjoy comfortable golf play at Cherokee Valley all year round.

I believe this course was renamed several years ago to Cherokee Valley. The course is in great shape and they overseed for the winter making all the tees, fairways and greens look great all year.

I live in Greenville, 30 miles away, but choose to play Cherokee. It's the best conditioned course around and offers even the best player a beautiful, yet challenging course. I live fairly close to Verdae but prefer Cherokee; not only because of layout but price. Cherokee is a fabulous course and I applaud the team there for how well they keep it maintained! GREAT course!!
